Description of the role:
The Service Call Center Representative at Key Hyundai of Manchester plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction. As the first point of contact for customers, the representative will handle incoming service calls, assist customers with scheduling service appointments, and address inquiries or concerns. With a strong focus on providing exceptional service, the representative will also offer assistance regarding vehicle maintenance, repair options, and warranty information. Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming service calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Assist customers with scheduling service appointments
- Listen to customer inquiries or concerns and provide appropriate guidance or solutions
- Offer information regarding vehicle maintenance, repair options, and warranty services
- Update customer information in the system accurately
- Collaborate with service technicians and other departments to ensure customer needs are met
- Handle escalated service issues with empathy and problem-solving skills
- Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call quality, customer satisfaction, and response time
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a call center or customer service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Familiarity with automotive industry and basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance preferred
- Proficiency in computer systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
