We are a reputable law firm in Worthington, Ohio, seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Probate Legal Secretary / Probate Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting attorneys with probate and estate administration matters. This position offers the flexibility to accommodate either full-time or part-time applicants, making it an excellent opportunity for experienced legal professionals seeking work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and filing probate documents.
• Manage deadlines and monitor and track case progress, alerting attorneys to critical deadlines.
• Coordinate communication with clients, court personnel, and financial institutions.
• Assist with estate administration tasks, including gathering and valuing assets, managing creditors, and distributing assets.
• Maintain and organize client files, both physical and digital, ensuring compliance with confidentiality requirements.
• Draft correspondence and maintain client communication throughout the probate process.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a legal secretary or paralegal in probate law or estate planning is strongly preferred.
• Paralegal certification or relevant legal education is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate professionally and empathetically with clients.
