Job Description

StaffMD has a health system client in Ohio seeking a Neurologist to join a well-established Neurology practice. Details are as follows:


Hospital employed, well established General Neurology practice
Primarily outpatient with hospital consults when on call
Board Certified in Neurology
Neurophysiology Fellowship preferred
Subspecialty emphasis in Epilepsy or Neuromuscular disease can be accommodated
EMG is a priority
Call is 1:3 weekend inpatient consult/call averaging 6-8 consults per day
Some weeknight and vacation call (both light)
Additional comp. opportunities with our CERP ( pay to call) program
20-25 patients a day to start
Telemedicine for acute stroke
Hospitalist and ER covering overnight except for rare emergencies
2 Nicolet/Vyasvs/Carefusion digital EEG Machines
Two Salary Options:
Option 1: Base salary $258,580 (50%tile MGMA for those just completing training) with additional comp. for experience, guaranteed for 2 years. Can be switched to a wRVU production contract when exceeding target
Option 2: Base salary $327,584 - 5% less if not yet boarded- (75%tile MGMA) guaranteed for one year and then switched to a wRVU production contract
Bonus incentives: Excellent bonus incentives up to 30% of salary
Contract includes:
oSign-on bonus: 15% of base salary up to $50,000
oMed school loan repayment: up to $200,000 ($25,000 per service year)
oMoving expense up to $10,000
oPTO: 4 weeks plus holidays/sick days (29 PTO days); 5 more days with 75%tile wRVUs
oDeferred comp and Retirement Plans both included
oHealth insurance: you pay a small premium deducted from paycheck
oCME/Books & Journals: up to $5,000 annually
oMalpractice insurance coverage
