JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst in Houston, Tx. Responsibilities include analyzing and appraising investment opportunities, executing capital markets activity, supporting a number of commercial activities, leading capital budgeting processes, and managing investor relations. Day to day activities will include creating financial models and analyses, working with various functional teams, tracking business development, and assisting in commercial and strategic analysis. As well as supporting regional leadership in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and project development, evaluate transactions, prepare investment memoranda, and assist with investor relations efforts
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or accounting. - 3+ years of relevant work experience in finance, preferably in investment banking or private equity, within the Oil and Gas industry. - Highly experienced in managing complex operating models or evaluation models in Microsoft Excel - Experienced running complex analysis, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, etc. - Hard working, takes initiative, and accountable for running a process to a conclusion - Able to speak clearly and in detail to their experience and understanding in Finance in the Oil and Gas industry - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills - able to present complex information to stakeholders - Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
