Job Description

Highly experienced private chef needed for an exclusive long-term commitment with a HNW family. The position is based in Miami Beach with some summer travel to Nantucket. The household consist of a couple and their guest. The ideal candidate must have had a previous long-term commitment in a private residence. Must be a seasoned chef with the ability to create high quality, tasty meals, focusing on a clean diet, specifically Mediterranean cuisine and Sushi. The principals are formal and entertain regularly for groups of 12 to 24 people. Flexibility is required.

Personal Chef Duties and Responsibilities:

• Menu creation and planning
• Daily food preparation ( average two meals per day)
• Plate and serve the meals
• Clean up after meals, kitchen organization, management and upkeep
• Source ingredients, food shopping
• Maintaining food stock and freshness
• Full responsibility of kitchen operation

Personal Chef Requirements and Qualifications:

• Previous long-term private chef experience, ideally averaging five years in each employment
• Minimum 10 years private chef experience
• Mediterranean Cuisine and Sushi specialty
• Ability to prepare a variety of other cuisines
• Able to cater to small groups up to 25 people
• Experience working with HNW individual in a formal setting
