Overview:

We are seeking a talented Furniture Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and possess a diverse skill set in various design software and methodologies. Experience in designing office furniture is highly preferred. Please attach Designer Portfolio with your resume/application.

Responsibilities:

• Attend various furniture exhibitions to understand the latest market trends and consumer preferences.
• Design furniture products suitable for distribution by offline distributors based on market demand.
• Determine the functionality, materials, and other parameters of the products to ensure practicality and market competitiveness.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in furniture product design, familiar with the U.S. market.
• Ability to attend and analyze exhibitions to gain design inspiration.
• Strong innovation ability, able to quickly adjust design direction based on market demand.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to work closely with production and sales teams.
• Possessing an engineering background, they have profound knowledge in technical and engineering aspects, ensuring that the design can be accurately manufactured.

Skills:

- Proficiency in Creo, Maya, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe, and other relevant design software

- Strong understanding of design research methodologies

- Familiarity with package design principles

- Ability to apply design thinking concepts effectively

- Mechanical knowledge to optimize designs for functionality

- Experience in digital design across various platforms

• Proficient in using CAD 2D/3D systems for creating execution drawings.
• Strong understanding of various furniture manufacturing processes and matrials.
• Excellent project management and supplier relationship management skills.
• Ability to innovate and integrate new technologies into furniture design.

Education:

Bachelor above in Design

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,684.00 per year
