Full Stack Odoo Developer Job Description

Stately is a stylist-curated clothing service for modern men who want to look and feel good without dealing with the hassle or expense of the typical shopping experience. At Stately, we’re passionate about leveraging technology to drive business success and enhance the customer experience. We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Odoo Developer to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of Odoo, extensive experience in customizations, and the ability to create complex, data-driven reports. If you have a strong background in Python, JavaScript, and database management, we’d love to talk to you. Experience with e-commerce platforms, especially Shopify, is highly desirable.

• Odoo Customization & Development: Develop, implement, and maintain custom modules in Odoo, including custom fields, workflows, and functions.
• Custom Report Creation: Design and build detailed reports that provide actionable insights for various departments, using Odoo’s reporting tools and custom SQL queries when necessary.
• End-to-End Solutions: Work on both the frontend and backend to ensure seamless integration, user-friendly interfaces, and optimal performance.
• Integrations & APIs: Develop and maintain integrations between Odoo and other third-party applications, including Shopify, ensuring data consistency and smooth communication between systems.
• Testing & Debugging: Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring code quality and system stability. Conduct thorough testing for customizations and new implementations.
• Documentation & Training: Document all customizations, integrations, and technical details. Provide training and support to internal users to maximize Odoo’s effectiveness.
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Odoo Developer, with proven experience in Odoo customization, module development, and report creation.
• E-commerce Experience (Preferred): Experience working with e-commerce companies, particularly on Shopify. Familiarity with the Shopify API and understanding of e-commerce business workflows is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, XML, HTML/CSS, and PostgreSQL. Familiarity with Odoo’s ORM and framework.
• Database Management: Extensive experience with PostgreSQL, including complex SQL queries and data manipulation for custom reports.
• API Knowledge: Experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs to integrate Odoo with other applications, especially Shopify.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements.
• Certification (Preferred): Odoo certification or similar credentials are a plus.
