Pediatric Therapeutic Services (PTS) is seeking a part time Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide early intervention classroom support for a local Intermediate Unit.
\n\n4 days/week (Mon-Thurs 8:15-11:15 for am session, 30 minute lunch break, 30 min lunch helper period then pm session 12:15-3:15)
\n\nMust have experience working with preschool aged children in the behavior field
\n\nPerks:
\n\nPTS provides consistent on-site and off-site mentorship with Clinical Directors and Team Leaders and EI Mentors.
\n\t\nEarly Intervention and School Based Academy: We provide the support and community that a new School-Based therapist needs to feel comfortable and to be successful.
\n\t\nResponsibilities :
\n\nAssist the BSC in implementing behavioral programming
\n\t\nUnderstand and adhere to established policies and procedures
\n\t\nDemonstrate sound judgment, critical thinking, decision making, and effective time management skills
\n\t\nMaintain acceptable attendance status, per Agency policy
\n\t\nPerform other duties as assigned
\n\t\n\tMaintain 20 continuing education/training hours per school year

Qualifications:
\n\nHigh School Diploma
\n\t\nMinimum one year experience working with children. Prefer this experience to include working with children (ages 3-5) with special needs.
