Allied Universal Services is seeking the position of an **Armed Security for Correction Institute in Taylorsville, NC.**

**Starting Base Pay:**

**Supervisor $28 / Hour**

**Guard $21 / Hour**

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ Must be able to obtain a NC Armed Private Protective Services security registration

+ Must be licensed to possess and carry a pistol of 9mm or higher, while performing duties

+ **Must successfully complete a physical agility test including** :

+ Run 1-1/2 mile run (within 17 minutes 30 seconds)

+ Pushups within designated timeframe

+ Possess a valid drivers license in good standing for last 3 years

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
