We are seeking a dynamic and skilled professional to join our team as an API Solutions Specialist. This role sits at the critical intersection of client relations, technical implementation, and product development, offering an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on solving complex technical challenges while building strong collaborative relationships.

In this pivotal position, you will serve as a bridge between our organization's internal teams and our valued clients and partners. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure smooth and effective implementation of our API product suite, translating technical capabilities into tangible solutions that meet our diverse client needs.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, communication skills, and a customer-centric approach to this multifaceted role. You will be instrumental in not just supporting our API products, but in driving their ongoing evolution and client satisfaction.

What Responsibilitieswould you have?

• Work with our clients and partners to implement the workflows and associated mapping for our APIs
• Collaborate with and support our Sales and Client Success Teams to foster adoption of the APIs across our client base.
• Engage with current API-enabled clients to fine-tune and optimize their workflows and data mapping.
• Liaise with internal support teams to help resolve API-related and API-adjacent queries and challenges.
• Maintain existing API documentation and create new resources as our product suite grows.
• Engage with our API-enabled 3rd Parties to understand and optimize their integrations
• Work closely with the Product Team to test, release, and maintain any new features or functionality that get added to the API.

What background should you bring?

• Working understanding of REST APIs: Understand how APIs function, their request/response formats (e.g., JSON, XML), and methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE)
• Ability to read and write API requests using tools like CURL and Postman
• Basic understanding of Python or JavaScript and how they are used in APIs
• Understanding of DataDog and/or similar logging programs
• Excellent problem-solving ability
• Strong interpersonal skills and meeting etiquette
• Strong presentation and documentation skills
• Track record of translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Proven experience managing technical relationships with enterprise clients
• Familiarity with tools like Swagger, Confluence and Stoplight

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in similar role with 2+ years in a client facing role
• Understanding of API business models and monetization strategies

*Salary - $80,000 to $100,000 + bonus

Note : Our NYC currently operates on a hybrid working model. We understand each persons circumstances may be unique and we will work with you to explore suitable options. Expectation for this role is 2 days a week in the office to interact with other team members.
